By working alongside banks and capital providers, the French Development Agency (AFD) can structure and mobilize direct medium / long-term loans up to a maximum of 50% of the borrowing requirement and for an amount greater than 3 million euros. This direct loan can be mobilized to complete the bank financing plan of the project or of the investment program as a whole of a large or intermediate-sized company, in complementarity with the intervention of banks and under conditions similar to those of banks.

In addition to financial support, AFD then provides its expertise in financial and legal structuring, so as to offer a tailor-made financing plan, adapted to the company's needs.
